In 1997, a conspiracy-obsessed teenager receives a cryptic AIM message that leads him and his friends to a hidden Cold War bunker beneath their high school. What begins as a game quickly becomes a race to uncover a decades-old conspiracy, find his missing father, and stop forces far more dangerous than they ever imagined.
Operation: Cold Pizza is a mystery-comedy adventure series blending Cold War conspiracies, retro technology, friendship, and coming-of-age storytelling. Set in a world of dial up internet, VHS tapes, floppy disks, and late-night conspiracy theories, the series follows a group of young outsiders who discover that the very things that make them different may also be the key to saving the world. Built around an expandable mythology, Operation: Cold Pizza is designed as a multi-season adventure series with franchise potential across episodic content, digital media, publishing, and fan engagement.
Operation: Cold Pizza is a love letter to every kid who has ever felt like an outsider. At its core, the series is about friendship, identity, belonging, and the courage to believe that ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference. The production reflects the world as it truly is. More than 70% of the cast identify as neurodivergent, and the project actively creates opportunities for emerging performers and filmmakers from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.

The first two chapters of Operation: Cold Pizza have been independently produced and released, generating more than 2,100 views, 157 hours of watch time, over 8,300 impressions, and an audience of 100+ subscribers—with 24 new subscribers gained this month alone. Strong audience retention and meaningful watch time have successfully validated the concept and established an engaged early audience. Completing the series will allow us to build on this momentum, expand our community, and deliver the full creative vision of Operation: Cold Pizza.
The series is led by Jessica Orcsik (Unsound, Diversity Pictures), Robbie Ryde (Below Deck Mediterranean, Ryde Entertainment), Lucy McNulty (How Brief, Bare), and Matty Young, an internationally recognized filmmaker whose work has screened at Cannes, Berlinale, and Outfest LA.
