EMERGING FILMMAKER DEVELOPMENT GRANT

Inclusivity Media will be offering two $500 grants for emerging filmmakers to help them grow as visual artists in the Film/Television/New Media industry. One of the grants will be awarded to a college student in the Missouri/Kansas/Nebraska/Iowa region. Applicants will be asked to share how they plan to use the grant to advance as filmmakers, which may include such activities as, but not limited to: attending conventions/ film festivals/educational classes, renting/buying gear, rental

and or paying film festival fees. The IM Emerging Filmmaker Development Grant is about supporting the PERSON, not a specific PROJECT.

Rules & Terms:

•  Applicant must fill out application before the deadline.
• Applicant must align with Inclusivity Media's mission “to foster inclusion and accessibility in film, television and digital media of women, historically marginalized populations, people with disabilities, and underrepresented groups." 
• Applicant must be a citizen of the United States and age 18 or older at the time of entry.
• Applicant must agree that Inclusivity Media has permission to their image and application statements for media posts and releases.
• Grant recipient must provide receipt of how the grant was used. 
• Inclusivity Media Board Members and Fiscally Sponsored Filmmakers are ineligible.

Timeline for Submissions and Announcement: 

Applications open: July 1, 2026 

Applications close: October 1, 2026 

Announcement of grant recipients: November of 2026
